Sorry, it is difficult to make out, we will try to improve it. "In the Woods" restaurant is located in the West wing. Rooms #1 to #10  are on the ground level of the North wing, as are the three apartments #24, 25 and 26 (these units are designated by rectangles) located in the East wing. Rooms #11 to # 23 are located in the second floor of the North wing (designated with circles). As is the custom there is no room #13.

The building layout of the Malibu is a testimonial to the foresight of the designers to provide an attractive, functional vacation facility which would provide the maximum outdoor use by its guest.

The unique inverted "U" building layout, with the legs pointed in the southerly direction ensures the pool and outdoor lounging areas are bathe in sunshine the year around.  The two story base of the "U" on the northern boundary, acts as a major wind breaker in those rare instances when a cool winter breeze may be blowing due to a recent frontal passage.

On all but the most extreme winter days, the building layout itself is designed to allow our guest comfortable year around swimming in the heated pool and/or to sun bathe on the pool deck or generous grassy lounging area. It would be an extremely rare winter day when our guest can not enjoy the heated pool and almost never that they can't bask in the warm Florida sunshine.
